Policies & Procedures

CATCH has a range of policies and produces to ensure safe working practices and equal opportunities. These are available upon request.

Safeguarding Children and Young People

CATCH is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people. It recognises its responsibility to take the necessary steps to promote safe practice and to protect children from harm, abuse, and exploitation. CATCH also acknowledges its duty to act appropriately and without delay to any allegations, reports, or suspicions of abuse.

Our Safeguarding Policy has been developed to ensure the welfare and protection of any child or young person who accesses the services provided by CATCH. We recognise that safeguarding can be an emotive and sometimes difficult subject and understand that some staff and volunteers may find it challenging. We aim to support staff through training to respond appropriately to concerns and who are aware of their responsibilities. At CATCH we are committed to practice that supports the view that protecting children and young people is everybody’s responsibility.

The staff below are responsible for safeguarding at CATCH. Please contact them if you have any concerns.

Your support is important to us!

CATCH relies on your generous donations to keep the lights on! Our community space provides a much needed hub for the community in particular for vulnerable young people, so they have somewhere safe to go, something to do and someone to talk to 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year.
